Borderlands 2 maya11/30/2022 ![]() ![]() You get it from wizard Claptrap that can be found from Mines of Avarice. It's from keeping The Beard Makes The Man sidemission active. Others have pretty much covered all the skill related stuff, so I'll share some equipment advice.Ĭheesiest route would be rushing straight to Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC and getting the Grog Nozzle for heal and slag support. I really loved taking Maya through UVHM.she was pretty bad ass.so I wanted to make sure that you had a similar experience! Have fun. ![]() Anyway, sorry for going on for so long, just wanted to be as helpful as possible. Outside of the two I mentioned (also, Minds Eye, somewhat, and Res in co-op), most of the skills in the Harmony Tree arent going to be very helpful, so dont waste your points. this is especially annoying when fighting the Warrior. Raks that would typically ignore your presence will start to target you if they are hit by a CR deflection. If you phaselock when Varkids are nearby, you will probably end up with several morphing Varkids, and it is a whole lot trickier in UVHM to kill them before they come out of the pods, and definitely a whole trickier to kill them once they are out of the pods. Reaper and Chain Reaction are definitely keepers, but take note.Chain Reaction is a very powerful skill, on par with Zero's bore long term (it procs WAY more often than bore, and it targets enemies), but in certain situations, it can be a pain. Like I said, her cooldown is pretty short. You can use a relic with a cooldown, if you want, but I usually went with ones that increased DPS, whether it be fire rate, increased damage for a specific gun type, or increase in elemental damage. Quicken maybe saves you a few seconds when full.having increased fire rate and damage while you have a troublesome enemy phaselocked seemed far more valuable to me. Maya's cooldown is pretty short, so I took a few points out of Quicken so I could have more in Wreck. This is the build I started with (and at lvl60). I switched to the appropriate elemental when it was needed, which was not often.like I said, Cloud Kill is very powerful, even against Flesh enemies. #Borderlands 2 maya mods#My primary weapon was a slag (usually an smg, since mods for smg's can add up to 90% in damage, but I found a few pistols that had better DPS output, and I could use a sheriffs badge to boost damage and fire rate), as slag's damage multiplier is boosted in UVHM. Going with SR and Wreck was just a personal preference. And if you swap to a moxxi weapon while you've got Ruin going, you'll more than make up for not having SR. It does a lot of damage to the phaselocked enemy, and with Converge, there is a lot of Splash damage to other enemies, as well. If you do go with Ruin, instead of Wreck, it wont be a problem. With as powerful as Wreck and Cloud Kill are, Ruin wasnt necessary until later in the game. Ruin is great to have, but I did quite fine without it until I had more points. Wreck is very powerful, and there are Mods that boost it, so even just 1 point in it can make a big difference. SR helps a ton with HP, and it reduces the amount of times you have to swap to a Moxxi weapon. I put points into Sweet Release and Wreck from the start. Blight Phoenix is also very situational, and more often than not, it will cause you trouble, as it can set off exploding barrels, and such. Those points are better spent in Kinetic Reflection. Foresight is a better skill than Inertia for reload speed, as it is not a Kill Skill. Blight Phoenix and Inertia are not great skills. having played Maya through UVHM here is my experience. Enemies scale with you in UVHM, and if you level up, but still only have lvl 50 weapons, youre going to be in a bit of hurt. You have to be careful about leveling up. ![]()
